Description

Pycnanthemum montanum is an aromatic perennial herb found in Alabama, Georgia, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, and West Virginia. It belongs to the Lamiaceae family and was first described in 1803 by Michx. This species is commonly referred to as thinleaf mountainmint in English and is native to the Southern Appalachian region.
