Description

Najas tenuifolia belongs to the Hydrocharitaceae family and is commonly known as Thin-leaved Naiad. It is distributed across Australasian, Oriental (Indomalaya), and other regions such as China Southeast, Jawa, Lesser Sunda Is., Maluku, New South Wales, Northern Territory, Philippines, Queensland, South Australia, Sulawesi, Thailand, Victoria, and Western Australia. First described in 1810, this species is typically found in freshwater ponds.
