It is found throughout the island, including the eastern coastal forests, the southern regions, and the central plateau. This species is a member of the Orchidaceae family and the subtribe Aerangidinae.

Description

Aerangis fastuosa (Rchb.f.) Schltr. is an orchid species in the genus Aerangis, part of the Orchidaceae family. It is endemic to Madagascar, where it grows as an epiphyte. The species was first described in 1914 and is part of the subtribe Aerangidinae. Its distribution spans from the eastern coastal forests to the southern and central plateau regions of Madagascar.
