Schoenocaulon texanum is a flowering plant in the Melanthiaceae family, known as Texas feather-shank. It is native to parts of Mexico and the United States.

Description

Schoenocaulon texanum, described by Scheele in 1852, is a member of the Melanthiaceae family. It is found in the Mexican states of Chihuahua, Coahuila, Durango, and San Luis Potosí, as well as in the U.S. states of New Mexico and Texas. The plant is commonly referred to as Texas feather-shank in English and shares the same common name in the target language.
