Tasmannia insipida

Tasmannia insipida, known by common names such as brush pepperbush and Dorrigo pepper, is a flowering plant in the family Winteraceae. It is native to eastern Australia and grows as a shrub or small tree. The species was first described in 1817.
Description
Tasmannia insipida has lance-shaped or egg-shaped leaves, with the narrower end at the base. The plant is dioecious, with male and female flowers on separate individuals. Male flowers have 17 to 65 stamens, while female flowers have a single carpel containing 15 to 40 ovules. The fruit is a purplish berry.
