Schoenorchis micrantha, known as the Tangled flea orchid, is a small epiphytic orchid with thin stems, linear leaves, and up to thirty small, white, bell-shaped flowers. It is found in a wide range from Indochina to the south-west Pacific.
Description
Schoenorchis micrantha, described by Reinw. ex Blume in 1825, is a member of the Orchidaceae family. It forms small, tangled clumps and is distributed across Borneo, Fiji, Jawa, the Lesser Sunda Islands, Malaya, New Caledonia, New Guinea, the Philippines, Queensland, Samoa, the Solomon Islands, Sumatera, Thailand, Vanuatu, and Vietnam. The species is characterized by its epiphytic growth habit and compact, clustered appearance.
