Tamarix tetrandra is a flowering plant in the Tamaricaceae family, native to southeastern Europe, Turkey, Bulgaria, and Crimea. It grows up to 3 m (10 ft) tall and wide, with arching branches and scale-like leaves. It produces pale pink flowers in late spring.

Description

Tamarix tetrandra is a small deciduous tree with dark, arching branches and scale-like leaves. It is found in regions including Afghanistan, Albania, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Greece, Iran, Krym, Lebanon-Syria, North Caucasus, Romania, Transcaucasus, Turkey-in-Europe, Turkey, and Yugoslavia. The species was first described in 1808 by Pall. ex M.Bieb. It is characterized by its compact size and clusters of pale pink flowers that bloom in late spring.
