Tamarix meyeri is a species in the genus Tamarix, belonging to the family Tamaricaceae. It was first described in 1849 by Boiss. and is native to a range that includes Italy, Afghanistan, Iran, Kirgizstan, the North Caucasus, Pakistan, South European Russia, Tadzhikistan, the Transcaucasus, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan.

Description

Tamarix meyeri is a member of the Tamaricaceae family and is found across several regions in southern and central Eurasia. Its distribution spans from Italy through parts of the Caucasus, Central Asia, and Southwestern Asia. The species was formally described in 1849 by Boiss. and is part of the genus Tamarix, which includes various shrubs and small trees adapted to arid and saline environments.
