Tamarix ericoides is a species in the genus Tamarix, belonging to the family Tamaricaceae. It was first described by Rottler in 1803. The species is native to Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan.

Description

Tamarix ericoides is a member of the Tamaricaceae family, a group of flowering plants commonly known as tamarisk or salt cedar. It is part of the genus Tamarix, which includes shrubs and small trees adapted to arid and saline environments. The species is distributed across three countries in South Asia: Bangladesh, India, and Pakistan. It was scientifically documented for the first time in 1803 by the botanist Rottler.
