Takakia lepidozioides

Takakia lepidozioides is a member of the Takakiaceae family, a group of mosses with a limited distribution. It was formally described in 1958 by S. Hattori and Inoue, based on specimens collected in Taiwan. The species is known only from this region and is part of the genus Takakia, which includes a few closely related moss species. Its occurrence in Taiwan highlights the region's significance as a center of bryophyte diversity.
