Syagrus pseudococos is a species of flowering plant in the Arecaceae family, native to eastern Brazil. It grows in tropical rainforest and on rocky outcrops along a coastal strip from the extreme south of Bahia through Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, to São Paulo. The species was first described in 1970.

Description

Syagrus pseudococos (Raddi) Glassman is a member of the Arecaceae (palm) family and is part of the Syagrus genus. It is distributed in the southeastern region of Brazil, specifically in the coastal areas of Bahia, Espírito Santo, Rio de Janeiro, and São Paulo. The plant is adapted to both tropical rainforest habitats and rocky outcrops. The species was published in 1970 and is recognized for its ecological presence in these specific regions.
