Hydrochorea corymbosa (Rich.) Barneby & J.W.Grimes is a member of the genus Hydrochorea in the family Fabaceae. It is distributed across several regions in South America, including Complejo Humedales Hato Corozal, Parque Nacional Natural Serranía de Chiribiquete, Parque Nacional Natural Yaigojé Apaporis, and other protected areas in Amazonas, Guainía, Meta, and Vaupés. It is also found in Bolivia, Brazil (Northeast, North, and West-Central), Colombia, Ecuador, French Guiana, Guyana, Peru, Suriname, and Venezuela. The species was described in a 1996 publication that redefined the generic boundaries of Hydrochorea, emphasizing its amphi-Atlantic distribution.
