Astelia grandis, commonly known as swamp Astelia, is a plant species in the family Asteliaceae. It is native to the North and South Islands of New Zealand.

Astelia grandis is a member of the genus Astelia within the family Asteliaceae. This species is found in the North and South Islands of New Zealand. It was first described by Hook.f. ex Kirk and has been recognized in botanical literature since 1968. The plant is known by the common name 'swamp Astelia' in English.
