Allocasuarina nana is a species in the Casuarinaceae family, native to south-eastern Australia. It is a low, spreading shrub with branchlets up to 80 mm long and scale-like leaves in whorls of four to six. The plant produces fruiting cones 14–24 mm long, containing winged seeds 4–6 mm in length. It is dioecious, rarely monoecious.

Description

This plant is known as stunted she-oak and is found in New South Wales and Victoria. It was first described in 1982 and is characterized by its compact growth and small, cone-like fruits. The species is adapted to the specific environmental conditions of its native range.
