Stromanthe thalia (Vell.) J.M.A.Braga is a plant species in the arrowroot family Marantaceae. It is native to the Brazilian rainforest and is distributed in the Northeast, Southeast, and South regions of Brazil, as well as in BR, SE, and TW. The species was published in 1995. It is also known by the synonym Stromanthe sanguinea.
