Description
Aethionema retsina, known as stonecress, is a flowering plant endemic to Greece. It is found only on the islands of Skyros and Skyropoula in the central Aegean Sea. The plant is adapted to rocky and shrubby Mediterranean environments. It was first described in 1973 by Phitos and Snogerup. Due to the degradation and loss of its natural habitats, the species is considered at risk.
