Stizophyllum riparium (Kunth) Sandwith is a species in the Bignoniaceae family, native to several regions in the Neotropics. It is found in areas such as Parque Nacional Natural de Amacayacu, Amazonas, and various departments in Colombia, as well as in Belize, Bolivia, Brazil, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador, French Guiana, Guatemala, and parts of Mexico. The species was first described in 1938.
Description
Stizophyllum riparium is a member of the Bignoniaceae family and is distributed across a wide range of tropical and subtropical regions. It occurs in locations such as Cimitarra, Puerto Parra, San Vicente de Chucurí, and Caño Cuduyarí in Colombia, as well as in the Cuenca de Río Claro. Its range extends to other countries including Brazil, Mexico, and Central American nations. The species has been documented in various ecological zones, including the Amazonian region of Colombia and the Gulf and Southeast regions of Mexico. The scientific name was published in 1938.
