Sticherus nigropaleaceus

Sticherus nigropaleaceus is a member of the Gleicheniaceae family, a group of ferns commonly known as the climbing fern family. It is found in the countries of Brazil and Bolivia, specifically in the northern, southeastern, and southern regions of Brazil. The species was formally published in 1996 by J.Prado & Lellinger, building upon the original authorship by J.W.Sturm. It is one of several species within the genus Sticherus, which is characterized by its typically terrestrial or epiphytic growth habit and distinctive leaf morphology.
