Stemonoporus affinis is a tree species in the Dipterocarpaceae family, native exclusively to Sri Lanka. It is found in the Knuckles Range, where it grows in submontane wet evergreen forests as a small, gregarious lower canopy tree.

Description

Stemonoporus affinis, described by Thwaites in 1854, is a member of the Dipterocarpaceae family. This species is endemic to Sri Lanka and is restricted to the Knuckles Range. It is a small tree that forms clusters in the lower canopy of submontane wet evergreen forest patches.
