Steiropteris decussata

Steiropteris decussata is a fern species within the family Thelypteridaceae, a group commonly known as the Thelypteridaceae or the 'maiden fern' family. It is part of the genus Steiropteris, which includes several species of ferns. This species is distributed in Brazil, where it grows in its native habitat. The species was formally described and published in 2015 under the current scientific name, with the authorship credited to A.R. Smith, based on the original work by Linnaeus.
