Steganthera macooraia

Steganthera macooraia is a member of the Monimiaceae family, a group of flowering plants primarily found in tropical and subtropical regions. This species is endemic to Queensland, Australia. The name was first proposed by F.M. Bailey and later revised and published by P.K. Endress in 1979. As part of the genus Steganthera, it shares characteristics typical of this group, including features of leaf morphology and floral structure common to the family.
