Serruria stellata, known as the Star Spiderhead, is a shrub native to the Western Cape in South Africa. It is part of the fynbos vegetation and belongs to the Proteaceae family.

Description

Serruria stellata is a flowering shrub of the genus Serruria in the Proteaceae family. It is indigenous to the Western Cape region and is a component of the fynbos biome. The plant was first described in 1991 by Rourke. Its common name, Star Spiderhead, refers to the appearance of its inflorescence.
