Staavia glutinosa is a flowering shrub in the Bruniaceae family, native to the Western Cape of South Africa. It is a rare, endemic species found within the fynbos biome, specifically in the Table Mountain National Park, where it occurs in five subpopulations across a limited range of 70 km².

Description

Staavia glutinosa (P.J.Bergius) Dahl is a perennial shrub belonging to the genus Staavia. It is restricted to the Western Cape region, where it is an integral part of the fynbos vegetation. The species is known to occur in only five subpopulations within the Table Mountain National Park, with a total range area of 70 km². Due to its limited distribution, it is classified as a rare plant.
