Daphne oleoides is a shrub in the Thymelaeaceae family, native to southern Europe, northern Africa, and Western Asia. It is commonly known as spurge-olive.

Description

Daphne oleoides, known as spurge-olive, is a member of the Thymelaeaceae family. It is native to regions including Albania, Algeria, Bulgaria, Corsica, Cyprus, Greece, Italy, Crete, Lebanon-Syria, Sardinia, Sicily, Spain, Turkey, and Yugoslavia. This shrub was first described in 1766 by Schreb.
