Description

Daphne laureola is a member of the Thymelaeaceae family and is commonly referred to as Spurge Laurel. It is found in areas such as British Columbia, Açores, Portugal Continental, Pico Island, São Miguel Island, Terceira Island, SE, IE, DK, Ireland, Ukraine, NZ, NO, CA, the conterminous 48 United States, Belgium, Flemish Region, Walloon Region, Albania, and Algeria. The species was proposed as a conserved type of the genus Daphne by Jarvis in 1992, but the proposal was later deemed unnecessary by the General Committee. The type was designated by Mathew.
