Spondias radlkoferi is a flowering plant in the Anacardiaceae family, native to regions from southern Mexico to north-western Venezuela. It inhabits riparian borders and secondary growth forests. Seeds are dispersed by Neotropical bats in the genus Dermanura.

Description

Spondias radlkoferi is a hermaphroditic tree growing to 5–30 m in height. The trunk ranges from 2.5 to 90 cm in diameter, with a gray outer bark and red inner bark with white striations. Leaves are 3–14-leaflet, 13–58 cm long, with variable leaflet shapes and apex types. Trichomes include curved, fine, and thick hairs. The species resembles Spondias mombin but differs in vein patterns, fruit shape, and other morphological traits. It is distinguished by its intramarginal secondary veins, arched costal secondary veins, and obovoid green fruit with a short-acuminate apex. It is found in several protected areas in Colombia and other countries across its range.
