Description

Chloris pycnothrix is a member of the genus Chloris within the grass family (Poaceae). It is native to various parts of Europe, Africa, and South America, with documented occurrences in Belgium, the Flemish Region, France, The Netherlands, Great Britain, Israel, India, Madagascar, Angola, Argentina, Bolivia, Botswana, and Brazil. The species was formally published in 1824 by Trin. and is commonly referred to as spiderweb chloris in English.
