Spergularia fimbriata

Spergularia fimbriata belongs to the Caryophyllaceae family and was scientifically described by Boiss. & Reut. in 1854. The species is distributed across several regions in the Iberian Peninsula and surrounding areas, including Portugal Continental, the Baleares, the Canary Islands, Morocco, Portugal, and Spain. As a member of the Caryophyllaceae, it is part of a family commonly known as carnations or carnation family. Its geographic range indicates a presence in both mainland and insular areas of southern Europe and northern Africa.
