Lithospermum tuberosum (Rugel ex A.DC.), a member of the Boraginaceae family, is a flowering plant native to the southeastern United States. It is found in calcareous woodlands across Alabama, Arkansas, Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, Louisiana, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Virginia, and West Virginia. The species was first described in 1846.
