Sorbus turkestanica is a species in the genus Sorbus, family Rosaceae. It was published in 1901 and bears the authorship (Franch.) Hedl.

Description

Sorbus turkestanica is a member of the Rosaceae family, a group of flowering plants that includes many economically and ecologically significant species. The genus Sorbus, to which this species belongs, is characterized by trees and shrubs with pinnate leaves and pome-type fruits. This species was first described under a different authorship by Franch., and later reclassified by Hedl. in 1901.
