Sorbus forrestii, a deciduous tree in the Rosaceae family, is native to western China. It can reach up to 8 m in height and width, with leaves up to 20 cm long, divided into up to 19 pinnate leaflets. In spring, it produces white flowers, followed by clusters of white berries with pink tips in autumn.

Description

Sorbus forrestii, known as Forrest's rowan, is a species of flowering plant in the rose family (Rosaceae). It is indigenous to South-Central China. This tree is characterized by its spreading growth habit and pinnate leaves, each with up to 19 leaflets. The tree bears white flowers in spring, which develop into white berries with pink tips by autumn. It was first described in 1980 by McAll. & Gillham.
