Sonchus hydrophilus is a flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, native to Australia and New Guinea. It was first described in 1965 by Loutfy Boulos.

Description

Sonchus hydrophilus belongs to the genus Sonchus and is part of the Asteraceae family. Its distribution includes New Guinea, as well as multiple regions in Australia: New South Wales, Queensland, South Australia, Tasmania, Victoria, and Western Australia. The species was formally described in 1965 by the botanist Loutfy Boulos.
