Description

Lamium album is a member of the Lamiaceae family and is found in regions such as Manitoba, New Brunswick, Ontario, Quebec, Saskatchewan, and several European countries including Belgium, France, the Netherlands, and Great Britain. Taxonomically, it was considered the generitype by some earlier treatments, but under the Vienna Code, the choice of generitype was revised to reflect a more accurate determination. The plant is characterized by its white flowers and is commonly known as snowflake in English. It thrives in a range of environments, particularly those with moist and fertile soils.
