Elephantopus nudatus, known as smooth elephantsfoot, is a species in the Asteraceae family native to the southeastern United States. It occurs in states including Alabama, Arkansas, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Louisiana, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.

Description

Elephantopus nudatus is a flowering plant in the Asteraceae family, commonly referred to as smooth elephantsfoot. It is native to the southeastern U.S., with a distribution spanning from eastern Texas to Delaware. The species was first described by A. Gray in 1880.
