Description
Nepenthes gracilis is a common lowland pitcher plant in the Sunda region. It is widely distributed across Southern Asia, including Borneo, Malaya, Sulawesi, Sumatera, and Thailand. The species is most frequently found in lowland areas, with populations above 1,000 meters being rare. Despite its wide range, it rarely forms natural hybrids with other species. Described in 1840 by Korth., it is known for its slender form and is commonly referred to as the slender pitcher plant in English.
