Sierra laurel

Leucothoe davisiae is a flowering plant species native to North America and is part of the Ericaceae family, commonly referred to as the heath or heather family. It is known by the common name Sierra laurel. The species was published in 1868 by Torr. ex A.Gray. It is found in specific regions of the Sierra Nevada and is adapted to the local ecological conditions.
