Pinus sibirica, known as Siberian Pine, is a species in the family Pinaceae. It is native to regions in Siberia and surrounding areas, ranging from the Ural Mountains to the Stanovoy Range and from the lower Yenisei valley to central Mongolia. The species was first described in 1803 by Du Tour.

Description

Pinus sibirica is distributed across several regions, including Altay, Buryatiya, Chita, East European Russia, Finland, Iceland, Inner Mongolia, Irkutsk, Kazakhstan, Krasnoyarsk, Manchuria, Mongolia, North European Russia, Norway, and Sweden, among others. This pine species is part of the Pinaceae family, which includes various coniferous trees. It is commonly referred to as Siberian Pine in English and other languages.
