Abies sibirica, known as the Siberian Fir, is a coniferous evergreen tree native to regions in Siberia, Turkestan, northeast Xinjiang, Mongolia, and Heilongjiang. It is part of the Pinaceae family and was first described in 1833 by Ledeb.

Description

Abies sibirica is distributed across several regions, including Altay, Amur, Buryatiya, Central European Rus, Chita, East European Russia, and Finland. This species is commonly referred to as the Siberian Fir in English and is adapted to the taiga biome east of the Volga River and south of 67°40' North latitude. It is a member of the genus Abies and is found in both local and global contexts.
