Protea aurea (Burm.f.) Rourke, known as Shuttlecock Sugarbush, is a shrub or small tree in the Proteaceae family. It is endemic to the Cape Provinces of South Africa, where it grows in mountain fynbos, typically on cool, moist southern slopes.
