Fuchsia paniculata is a shrubby fuchsia species in the genus Fuchsia, family Onagraceae. It is native to Central America and has a wide distribution across regions such as Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and parts of the United States, including Hawaii and California. It was first described in 1856 by Lindl. and is closely related to Fuchsia arborescens, belonging to the section Schufia.

Description

Fuchsia paniculata is a member of the Onagraceae family and is commonly known as shrubby fuchsia. It is native to Central America and has been recorded in several countries including Colombia, Costa Rica, Mexico, and the United States. The species is part of the section Schufia within the genus Fuchsia and is most closely related to Fuchsia arborescens. It was first published in 1856 by Lindl. and is found in diverse regions such as Cundinamarca, Bogotá, and parts of the conterminous 48 United States.
