Coprosma nitida, known as shining coprosma, is a shrub native to south-east Australia. It is characterized by small, glossy leaves and small bright red-orange fruits. This species is found in New South Wales, Tasmania, and Victoria.

Description

Coprosma nitida, also referred to as mountain currant or shining currant, is a member of the Rubiaceae family. It is a shrub species with small, glossy leaves and occasional spines on the ends of its branchlets. The plant produces small, bright red-orange fruits. Endemic to south-east Australia, it is distributed across New South Wales, Tasmania, and Victoria. The species was first described in 1847 by Hook.f.
