Boechera acutina, known as sharp-podded rockcress, is a species in the Brassicaceae family. It is native to California, Idaho, and Oregon. The species was published in 2007 and is part of the genus Boechera.

Description

Boechera acutina (Greene) Windham & Al-Shehbaz is a member of the Brassicaceae family, commonly referred to as the mustard family. It is found in the western United States, specifically in the states of California, Idaho, and Oregon. The species was formally described in 2007. Its common name, sharp-podded rockcress, reflects morphological characteristics of the plant. The genus Boechera includes a number of rockcress species, many of which are adapted to rocky or arid environments.
