Description

Neptunia dimorphantha, commonly called sensitive-plant, is a member of the genus Neptunia in the legume family Fabaceae. It is found in several regions of Australia, including New South Wales, Northern Territory, Queensland, South Australia, and Western Australia, as well as the Lesser Sunda Islands. The plant is characterized by its trailing growth habit and produces yellow flowers from July to November. The species was first described in 1926 by Domin.
