Suaeda vermiculata is a salt-tolerant plant (halophyte) in the Chenopodiaceae family. It is native to regions including Afghanistan, Algeria, the Canary Islands, Chad, Djibouti, Egypt, Eritrea, the Gulf States, India, Iran, Iraq, Kuwait, Libya, Mauritania, Morocco, Oman, Palestine, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, and Sicilia. The species was first described in 1776.

Description

Suaeda vermiculata is a halophytic plant found in salt-affected areas. It belongs to the genus Suaeda and is commonly known as Seablite. The species has a wide distribution across arid and semi-arid regions of Africa, the Middle East, and parts of southern Europe and Asia. It is adapted to saline environments and is part of the Chenopodiaceae family.
