Suaeda esteroa is a flowering plant in the Chenopodiaceae family, commonly known as seablite. It is a yellow-green to reddish subshrub with fleshy, succulent leaves. Native to the estuaries and salt marshes of coastal southern California and Baja California, it was described by Ferren and S.A. Whitmore in 1983.

The plant is native to the estuaries and salt marshes of coastal southern California and Baja California. It was first described in 1983 by Ferren and S.A. Whitmore. Commonly referred to as seablite, it is adapted to saline environments.
