Allocasuarina paludosa, commonly known as scrub she-oak, is a shrub in the Casuarinaceae family, native to south-eastern Australia. It has branchlets up to 200 mm long and scale-like leaves arranged in whorls of six to eight. The plant produces fruiting cones 10–18 mm long, each containing winged seeds 3.5–5.0 mm long. It is found in New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria.

Description

Allocasuarina paludosa is a shrub species in the Casuarinaceae family. It is native to south-eastern Australia and is commonly referred to as scrub she-oak. The plant can be monoecious or dioecious and has branchlets that can reach up to 200 mm in length. The leaves are reduced to scale-like structures in whorls of six to eight. The fruiting cones are 10–18 mm long and contain winged seeds measuring 3.5–5.0 mm in length. It is distributed across New South Wales, South Australia, Tasmania, and Victoria. The species was published in 1982 under the authorship of L.A.S. Johnson.
