Sclerolaena hostilis (Diels) Domin is a flowering plant in the Chenopodiaceae family, native to Western Australia. Initially described in 1904 by Ludwig Diels as Bassia hostilis, it was later reclassified into the genus Sclerolaena by Karel Domin in 1921.

Description

Sclerolaena hostilis is a species of flowering plant belonging to the Chenopodiaceae family. It is indigenous to Western Australia. The species was first described in 1904 by Ludwig Diels under the name Bassia hostilis. In 1921, Karel Domin reclassified it into the genus Sclerolaena, resulting in the current scientific name Sclerolaena hostilis (Diels) Domin.
