Schoenoplectiella trapezoidea is a species in the Cyperaceae family, native to China North-Central, China Southeast, Japan, and Manchuria. It was formally described in 2011 by J. Jung and H.K. Choi, based on earlier work by Koidz.

Description

Schoenoplectiella trapezoidea belongs to the Cyperaceae, a family commonly known as sedges. This species is distributed across several regions in East Asia, including China North-Central, China Southeast, Japan, and Manchuria. The taxonomic classification of this species was established in 2011 by J. Jung and H.K. Choi, who recognized and named it within the genus Schoenoplectiella. The species was previously studied by Koidz., whose work formed the basis for its subsequent formal description.
