Schoenoplectiella schoofii is a species in the Cyperaceae family, native to South-Central and Southeast China. It was formally described in 2012 by Hayas, following the original work of Beetle.

Description

Schoenoplectiella schoofii belongs to the genus Schoenoplectiella within the Cyperaceae family, commonly known as the sedge family. This species is geographically restricted to South-Central and Southeast regions of China. The scientific name was first proposed by Beetle and later formally published in 2012 by Hayas. The species is part of a group of plants that are often found in wetland or moist habitats, as is typical for members of the Cyperaceae family.
