Schizophyllopsis papillosa is a liverwort species in the family Anastrophyllaceae. It was initially described as Anastrophyllum papillosum by John J. Engel, John E. Braggins, and Rudolf M. Schuster in 1998. Later, it was reclassified under the genus Schizophyllopsis by Váňa and L. Söderstr in 2013.
Description
Schizophyllopsis papillosa belongs to the Anastrophyllaceae family and is part of the genus Schizophyllopsis. The species was first documented in 1998 under the name Anastrophyllum papillosum by John J. Engel, John E. Braggins, and Rudolf M. Schuster. In 2013, it was formally reclassified by Váňa and L. Söderstr, who assigned it to the Schizophyllopsis genus.
